Hostile Area

It would be nice to implement World PVP with a bounty system. A world in which players are free to farm, quest and battle, however anyone can kill anyone within a certain level range (arguably within 3 levels below) without penalty. This area, perhaps an island traveled to by boat, will be beneficial as gaining a certain title or a certain faction point type. If a player kills another player outside of the level parameter, the victim can put a bounty on the criminal's head; enabling people to go after and collect a reward.

Whether it is faction points, higher drop rates, higher monster levels for certain unique items there must be some sort of benefit for this area. This can be thought of as perhaps an "arena" but with monsters, quests, and everything in tyria but on a much smaller scale and with hostile players.

There can be a party system also, but without a requirement of 4 or 6 or 8; people who form parties (guildies or friends or casual players) will be able to team up, but the party is the ONLY means of non-hostility while ALL OTHER PLAYERS can be attacked, and can attack. This adds thrill to the game for people who do not want to participate in structured PVP and do not want to take part in castle sieges or even come-and-go battles. This will be an even more casual form of world pvp.

It would be nice to have a ganking and bounty system in Guild Wars, as does many free MMORPG's. They are also enjoyable because it implements comradery to a Guild, making sure that if a low-level is farming in the Hostile Area, a higher level guildmate will be there for protection against people who kill out of the thirst to PvP.

The bounty system can be much like the zaishen missions; if a player is notorious for killing low levels in the Hostile Area, that player will inevitably have the highest bounty. Many bounty hunters will then be after the one player, cycling infamy for the tyrant holding the bounty record in the Hostile Area. It also enables people to accept challenges, should someone want to specifically target a single person for a 1v1 duel; they can simply go to the Hostile Area and benefit from the duel by gaining faction/title points while accepting social challenges.
