Conrad jumped out of bed, smacking his head on the low ceiling. Quietly swearing, he got up and looked around. Amazingly, he was the only one up-or so he thought-after a second glance, it appeared Tom, the smart, booky Zu Durheim was up. Probably in the library at that. Oh well. Conrad checked his chronometer-
"Oh nooo!" It was already 5:30! He should have been up ten minutes ago! He climbed out of bed as quickly as he could, waking up Augustus, the irritating, overweight inbred Zu Heltzer. Frank, annoying, rude, and athletic Zu Vasburg was awake, but still in bed; groaning about having to get up. A noise alerted Conrad to the squeaky and gossipy arrival of Annabell and Anita.
"You won't believe this..." Anita started, "We've got to get her down!" Annabell giggled out.
"Whaa?" Augustus didn't have time to finish. A green glow broke the ceiling above Frank's head. A piece of plaster hit Franks head (Serves him right too, Conrad thought) and Anya came tumbling through the ceiling.
"Waaatch ooouuutt!" She yelled as she came down, "Oh, sorry Frank, didn't see you there!"
"Sure, sure, whatever, Anya," sarcasm was Frank's forte.
"We'll clean this up later. Anyway, whis excited for secondary classes today?"
"Oh, oooh," Anita began, "I've got beast mastery today-that means I get to pet the pets!"
"Well," Frank said in his nastist voice, "I've got swordsmanship, top that."
"Phooy, Fast Casting rules!" Augustus somehow got away with being a mesmer-nevermind how.
"All in all, sounds like..." Anita ended with a squeak. Redemptor Gerhart walk-ran into the room, breathing heavily.
"Everyone-get ready for the day! Five minutes-in the Dining Hall." Gerhart than proceeded to jog out the room and down the hall.
"I wonder why ol' Gerhart wants us in the *gasp* dining hall?" Frank was of coarse being rude.
"Guests, I dunno," Annabell was quiet for a while, "Conrad, you ok, you look pale, and you haven't said a word?" Conrad was silent, than he explained,
"I had a dream-no a nightmare..."
