Aftermath - what happens after Abaddon's fall

My story so far

I was one of many aspiring students in Shing Jea Monastery, learning the arts of the elements under the guidance of Master Togo. Unfortunate events led to our premature dismissal in order to defend the land and, ultimately, the Canthan empire itself, against unnatural forces led by a returning evil from ages past.

I joined many heroes from different professions, backgrounds, and origins, coming from far-away lands and finally defeated the evil Shiro Tagachi, but among many of the casualties was the venerable Master Togo himself. My spiritual state was damaged and compromised, prompting a hero healer named Mhenlo to cast a spell to dull certain parts of my mind to protect it from breaking down. I survived with my mind intact, but my memories were spotty at best.

After the elimination of Shiro Tagachi I have retreated Shing Jea Island to recuperate, living a simple life by the Northern shores in the former Minister Cho's Estate. When schedule permitted, I provided my services to the academy to teach new students. Soon, however, I found myself yearning to return to the main land, and upon arrival to Kaineng I was promptly recruited to serve the Empire to conduct diplomatic missions in the Luxon lands of the South in order to improve relations between the state with the Empire. The journeys had put me in the middle of a complex web of political intrigue that had gotten the better of me.

The last memory I had was coming to the rescue of a close friend of mine, an ex-Am Fah assassin named Zenmai. After a fierce battle, I was finally able to free her from captivity. However, I was not as fortunate this time around; the price to pay for her rescue was my own life.

My consciousness now flows freely among the land as I await the Celestial Envoys to lead me to the Mists, as per the common teaching taught to every Canthan. What adventures await ahead?
