Realitively new player to Guild Wars, started playing October of 06'

Came to the game because it seemed to have a similar tactic and strategy feel like Mechwarrior but had a style that was a lot different, and because a few friends got it at the same time. I still am an avid Mechwarrior/Classic BattleTech fan and play the NBT HardCore mod of MW4:Mercs in a league, which is where I learned the concept of tactics, strategy, game balance, and unfortunately, politics that come with the 3 previous concepts.

Characters[edit]

Will be updated soon.

My View on PvP/Skills[edit]

First, skills should have more versatility, no more of the skills that are only good against signets, or shouts and chants, skills need more versatility.

Balanced aka Safeway should be the least powerful of all builds, what I mean is, if two teams of equal skill face off, one using a specialized build, one using balanced, balanced should lose 95% of the time, because a team build that can counter every specialized team, is very unbalanced.

This game should require a mixture of skill and tactics/builds, skill would be too generic and more like tug of war or fighting mirror link over and over again (who doesn't hate mirror link from Ocarina?) and focusing on just builds would diminish the experience an expert player has gained and make it seem like a wasted effort.

No more vanity elite skills, this isnt like Magic where you can have bad rares, because you can have as many rares in a deck as you want, you can only have one elite on your skill bar in this game.

Make equipment unlocks easier to get, and make asthetic upgrades available to everyone, but make them difficult to get unless you play PvP or AT tournaments a lot.

I know GW2 is being worked on and all, but considering it will be awhile until we see much about it, it would be nice to see more skill updates more often.

PvE Complaints[edit]

My complaint is with the system where you get random drops, very rarely is something perfect, I don't like the idea of merchant food, which the system embraces. also wish there were some ways to get guaranteed perfect item (basic stat wise, mods don't have to be perfect) and there needs to be a mod seller, as much as I like the way the economy is setup, its incredibly annoying to rely on this to get good items, because most people don't get them, or don't farm enough to get a decent amount.
