Today i have been taugh a lesson by a brilliant expert whose best way to kill something is to die, resurect, die... until the foe is vanquished. Let's start the stats: 2 x 7 = 14 deaths, 3 attempts and a paragon bragging that we rule.

Now we try with henchs.
In hm there is that stupid thing that make foes moving faster than normal because Anet thinks it's funny...
We're going to use it.

I used a single type of trap to demonstrate that just one is enough. Making them running after me in order to spot where they were loosing aggro, i ordered a hero to put 3 smoke traps, using the terrain configuration so that 1) they would form a compact grp, 2) if needed we run with no one left behind.
