Description

{{subst:User:TEF/Unsigned|timestamp|user name OR ip}}

• Substitute this template to add a user's ID and comment timestamp when someone has forgotten to sign their post with four tildes.
• To prepare, visit the edit history and copy the timestamp and IP/userID from the relevant post and insert a pipe (|) between them.
  • This template assumes pacific time.

Note: the "subst:" prefix converts the template from wikicode into text. This reduces load on the wikiserver. Some would argue that the load decrease is negligible. However, since the "cost" of using "subst:" is so little, why not help a poor server out?)
