Page for things that need to be nerfed, but not into oblivion. (More so into balance-ness :) ) I'll get to this when I have the time.

Warrior[edit]

Warrior's Endurance Scythes[edit]

These guys hit hard! Even with shield swapping, etc. you are still going to have some major heals to survive, which isn't always possible in the RA, FA, etc.

  • Solution Make it work with Warrior skills only, just like they did with that one Assassin skill, can't remember what it is called at the moment...

Ranger[edit]

Interrupts[edit]

Mainly distracting and magebane shot. Pretty much over powered because rangers can spam them for no cost to them pretty much.

  • Expertise
    • Over powered, especially when you get into cross profession usage
      • Solution make it only work for ranger skills or make it work only half on non ranger skills.
      • Needs a fix, some what similar to what necromancers and soul reaping.

Monk[edit]

Nothing really is over powered here, everything is fairly balanced.

Mesmer[edit]

Fast Cast Water[edit]

Although this has kind of been dealt with in the previous update, these are still a huge problem. They cast their spells too fast to interrupt and are often used over water elementalists because of Power Block interrupting skills, etc.

  • Solution Bring back the old Blinding Surge, Mind Blast eles

Mostly everything else with the mesmers are ok. I lied...

Visions of Regret[edit]

This is easily one of the most damaging or shut down skills in the game.

  • Solution Can't really think of one...

Necromancers[edit]

Ritualist[edit]

Still a problem, even with the nerf to spirits. Necromancers have the energy management that the ritualist lacks and because restoration doesn't have any of the divine favor draw backs, Necromancers actually become more effective at healing that Ritualists.

  • Solution Either add a minor healing buff to ritualitst through spawning power or do something else.

Wail of Doom[edit]

This skill makes a person useless for upwards of 4 seconds for little cost.

  • Solution Can't really think of one. Either revert it and make it better or lessen duration or switch to only a certain random attribute.

Nothing else at the moment that I can think of.

Elementalist[edit]

Nothing at the moment needs to be fixed with eles. Almost all of their skills have been nerfed to deal with previous problems.

Searing Flames[edit]

Forgot about this. Searing Flames just gets too over powered in certain areas like HA. Searing Flames either needs a rework, or something else has to be done.

Assassin[edit]

Nothing really at the moment. Ganking has more or less been nerfed into semi balance-ness along with most shadow steps. Assa-casters are a thing of the past (thank god!) so nothing else to mention here.

Ritualist[edit]

More or less balanced at the moment. Restoration/Channeling Hybrids aren't as over powered any more, and they aren't too overpowering in PvE.

Dervish[edit]

The Nightfall professions are the most imbalanced in the game in my opinion.

Wounding Strike[edit]

  • Needs a nerf. As things are right now, two or three strikes of this and other attacks will kill a spell caster in seconds.
    • Solution Either needs a rework or needs a huge nerf, into un-usability if needed.

Scythes[edit]

  • Scythes as a whole are pretty unbalanced. Up to three attacks with huge damage is too over powered.
    • Solution Either switch damage to go lower, but attack slightly faster or make attacks only work on the first target. For example, Wounding Strike would only bleed+deep wound on one target, while still dealing regular damage to adjacent foes.

Paragons[edit]

The infamous Imbagon[edit]

  • Needs a nerf because you can beat anything with any team with this on your team. You can literally rofl at any damage with your ~80% damage reduction. Even spellcasters can survive pretty much anything.
    • Solution I really don't know to tell the truth...

Shout Chaining[edit]

This has more or less been dealt with, but you still see the occasional dual DA paragons making things a pain

  • Solution Nothing, eventually this will not be used, just like everything else, a.k.a. the meta...
