Hello[edit]

Hi, I noticed your edits to your guidl page. Can you use the Show Preview button please? your editing has clogged the list of Recent Changes. No harm done, but Showing the preview before you save will reduce the number of times you have to save the page. Thanks! :) --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 16:31, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi Scott, Will do. Perhaps you can help... The originator of the Necromancers guild mistyped the default guild page to Nercomancers. As the result, when a guild member hit F10 and click on the last link (Nercomancers), it takes him/her to a wrong page. I created a link to redirect, but could you set The Necromancers as our guild's default page? Thanks!

Thats interesting.....When clicking on the guild page via GW F10, it should take you to the page of your actual guilds spelling...in other words, it should take you right to Guild:The Necromancers. I can probably make a redirect out of it, but I'm not sure whether it would be allowed....I'll ask someone who has a bit more experience in the matter. They'll know what to do :) --User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 17:54, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. Just a clarification before I do things, in case it gets mixed up -- your guild name, in-game, is called "The Nercomancers"? --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ talk 18:30, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi! Please ignore my last request. I must be dyslectic LOL. It is Nercomancer! Learning something new every time being a new guild master.  :-) Thanks.

Guild page[edit]

Hi, in response to the question on my talk page:

  • If you meant "renaming your guild in-game", the only way is to disband the old one and start a new guild.
  • If you meant "renaming your guild article in the wiki", you can use the "move" function at the top of the page to move the article to the proper in-game spelling (as seen on the F10 menu in-game).

Also, in regard of the cleanup of the page, please note that guild articles are supposed to include information about the guild itself, and not be all-inclusive of everything that is found in game. I would advice you to move the content from the sections "About Guild Wars" and "Playing Tips" to a subpage (by example, Guild:The Nercromancers/Playing Tips) and just leave a link on the main page, before someone else just removes all the text not in compliance from the page.

Finally, you may want to note that, as per our guild pages policy, guild articles are not supposed to serve as guild rosters. As such, the section about "Active Guild Members" has to be removed. It's fine to list the leader(s) and a reduced number of officers, but listing the whole guild rooster shouldn't really be done.--Fighterdoken 01:23, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
