Third block for spam :D Maybe you shouldn't have unblocked me, you would have recieved much less notifications in recent changes ;)
Also i'm suggesting the idea to suppress a category if there's already an article which have a link to the pages of that category (the life stealing case is a good example). The main reason is that the pages are redundant, and category pages are a pain to use, unlike an article such as life stealing which also allow to sort by effects.
I won't do anything before you agree/disagree, so what is your opinion ?--78.231.36.113 08:49, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
Categories have an important use on wikis. They allow for raw information to be organized and then used. They exist in the "Category:" namespace.
Articles are what readers are intended to visit. They are the pages that look nice, and explain the information. They exist in the "Main:" namespace.
There are some pages which act as lists for readers, and they do blur the lines between the two. Life stealing pulls information from the category Category:Skills that cause Life Stealing, as well as from other sources, to create the list that you see. Removing the category would remove a valuable asset and source of information for other wiki tools (such as the DPL which is hiding behind {{Skill table}}).
This is why keeping the categories clean and organized in a useful manner is so important. Since we have tools which pull information from them, we want it to be done in a predictable and efficient manner. G R E E N E R 20:16, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
I didn't understand everything but if it's important I don't touch it.--78.231.36.113 21:29, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
