Things to try[edit]
If you haven't already, do the same thing with another dervish hero (set to guard, go aggro, yada yada). Then give them different weapons & offense skillbars, do it for both mox and mel/kahmu. Then, give a scythe and the same skillbar to say koss, or another non-derv hero. See if you get the same behavior mentioned, and let me know because I'm too lazy to do it myself. :P
It's not a real thorough test, but at least you can narrow down causes. --8765 07:36, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Also, you mentioned in your MOX notes that you're not selecting or targeting anything; this is further demonstrated in your Mox Trot video. One thing you need to understand is that the AI has a system of targeting when nothing is targeted: they will go for lowest armor/lowest health/highest damage creatures in some complicated order where things are weighted in some way that I personally don't entirely understand. Now, while I admit from watching your video that the behavior does look very buggy, I think at least half of the problem there is that you're just standing there and letting the AI auto-target. If you attacked/called a target, MOX would probably stay on target a little better. He's doing what other AI are probably doing (minus the running back part--that's just bad) and it's more noticeable because he's a) melee and b) larger than other heroes. -- Timeoffire45 16:13, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
