PC Powerplay

I hope that you check this page! I have been in contact with the PC Powerplay (Australia) staff about the Asura miniature. I had heard the key is usually on a full page print ad, which is why they were reluctant to include it in the magazine originally (supposedly because of lost ad revenue). PCPP has two versions of their magazine, one with a DVD and one without. The DVD version costs around $11.50, and the regular version $6.50. I asked a staff member to confirm which version of the magazine would have the key so that I could tell my newsagent to order extra copies for me. I assumed that the key would be in the magazine, like I had heard elsewhere, but I received a message from them saying it is looking like the key will be in the DVD case. Which means we're going to have to be paying an extra $5 for every account we want the miniature on. I wanted to know if this is normal, their perogative, or whatever, or if Aussies are being extorted! - BeXoR 11:31, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Well, since we don't know the internal policies at ANet about how the ANet groups on the wiki are handled, I don't think it'd be appropriate for us to do something like this in general; Emily or Gaile would be a far better choice to get in contact with. Then, for this specific case there's the other issue that Alex Weekes doesn't work for ANet any longer, he's been working on Fury for months now. --Dirigible 09:36, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

I am pretty sure Alex "GhostRaptor" Weekes was recently replaced by Matrin Kerstein when Alex was offered the job at Auran to help get the game Fury up and running...--Coridan 11:46, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
