Welcome![edit]
Hello, AshleyS, and welcome to the Official Guild Wars Wiki! If you need help with anything, please feel free to add a message to my talk page. I highly recommend that you check out the "Welcome to the wiki" page - it's extremely useful as an initial guide. Best of luck and happy editing! --Santax (talk · contribs) 09:19, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Care to explain why you have tagged this image with a {{delete}}-tag? Or was that an error? -- (CoRrRan / talk) 19:50, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hello. Looking at the Rago's Flame Staff article, there appears to be a blank screenshot uploaded, and looking at the image, it seems blank there too. It's only when you visit the URL of the image you get a result, (http://wiki.guildwars.com/images/a/ad/Rago%27s_Flame_Staff_male.jpg). So by reading your comment, am I the only one experiencing this? -- AshleyS (talk•contribs) 22:26, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think so yes. I do see the image, and both Aiiane and Lemming64 can see the image too. (On a sidenote, can I direct you to GWW:USER#User_talk_page_restrictions?) -- (CoRrRan / talk) 22:44, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- Care to explain why after several cache clears, I still see this: http://img.unrealmod.co.uk/08-09-07/185404_pic1.PNG. (On a sidenote, why act so arrogant?) -- AshleyS (talk•contribs) 22:55, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
- My appologies, I had no intention to sound arrogant at all. I think you are misreading the tone of my comments. And as for the comment on the talkpage of Guild Wars Wiki talk:Image use, that has absolutely nothing to do with this.
- As for the image problem: that is an odd issue. I think you might want to leave a note on this page. Although I'm not sure if other people are experiencing the same problem. It would be nice to know whether more people are getting that blank page, but I'm not too sure we can get everyone to respond.
- And perhaps I should have just pointed out that the formatting you used on your talkpage isn't compliant with the current policy on userpages, but since you changed it already, I guess you understood why I made the comment in the first place. However, I would like to point out to you that you are allowed some leeway into using formatting on your talkpage. Have a look at User_talk:Santax. Again, my apologies if I 'sounded' arrogant to you. -- (CoRrRan / talk) 00:54, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer? The image seems to display fine on the Rago's Flame Staff article on Internet Explorer, but not on my Firefox.
- As for the talk page, it would've been nice to let me know by saying something like, "Could you please remove the borders from your talk page as it does not follow the policy", instead of just sending one to a page. But oh well, I got the message. -- AshleyS (talk•contribs) 01:05, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have now found the cause of the image disappearance. The extension Filterset.G that works with Adblock seems to filter this image out. I will not disable this extension that I am using, but instead I will disable then re-enable when necessary. Sorry for confusion. -- AshleyS (talk•contribs) 16:17, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Image size and resolution[edit]
I'm just wondering how you managed to get your images so large, especially of the greater glyphic maul. Are you running some super uber computer which can do higher resolutions for GWs than 1280x1024? <_< Jennalee 07:40, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hehe, I run Guild Wars on Window Mode and covers the full resolution of the monitor - minus the start menu. My desktop resolution is 1280x1024. The screenshot I took was not of my character, but someone else wielding it. I just zoomed in as close as I could before the weapon and the character started to fade. ^^ -- ►AshleyS (talk•contribs) 13:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
