- Even before the typical Heat build was popular (when critters still scattered), I was using it in NF to farm Lightbringer points. Even when monsters kited, I was having great success with softening up entire hordes. The only problem with the build was the massive downtime between spell bursts.
Nowadays, even that isn't a problem, but I'd think it to be too slow and localized to be that bad in PvP.
Searing Flames is strong by itself, but in a group it is ridiculously powerful. It's the only ele offensive I know that bulldozes interrupts. Its energy requirements are prohibitive at full tilt, which helps balance it somewhat, but really, this one sucks to be on the receiving end of. SarielV 17:37, 20 October 2008 (UTC) - I look at that picture and see that they failed one of the top 5 tenets of the game: Spread Out. They got what they deserved IMO ;D SarielV 17:36, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
Put Exhaustion back on Searing Heat and Teinai's Heat. Misfate 00:30, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

- I do like punishing poor positioning as a gameplay mechanic, but yeah. 68.51.95.206 20:26, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
- Adding exhaustion won't do anything. Exhaustion lasts 30 seconds and it recharges in 30 seconds.~>Sins WDB 07:34, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- I would too, if it actually punished poor positioning and not playing the game. Half the objectives in tombs require you to be shoulder to shoulder with your team, and the other half have maps so small you're shoulder to shoulder regardless. If it only punished poor positioning and not all positioning, I'd be more supportive of it.
- Regardless, rodgort's and searing flames punish people period, and there's nothing you can do about the latter. That's simply bad balance. -Auron 07:07, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
