None of those would work, really.

  1. There would be a massive outcry, people would QQ for months, etc. In the end, people would just find another gimmick to farm with.
  2. People who grinded those titles in order to get the skills at maximum power would be extremely annoyed with this change and would also QQ for months.
  3. Then people would just farm some other melee mob. Ruining area design thanks to skills that allow people to farm melee enemies doesn't make much sense; it's wiser to nerf the skills.
  4. That is the only change that bothers me personally. You are going against your statement of reworking PvE so it requires what people use in PvP, plus increased resilience would only make those enemies boring. It's more important for players to know how to counter healing than for them to bring one more nuker anywhere they go.
  5. I think it's the same AI already, I doubt Arena Net has managed to make more than one AI for GW.
  6. "start reworking pve to reward kiting": it isn't a matter of this not going to work, it has not worked. Right after Nightfall was released, the enemies there kited quite well. So well, in fact, that there were epic topics on the GW forums complaining about it; one player kept making long rants about how he and his heroes (in other words, with four skill bars under his control) were repeatedly stuck running in circles following the (rather predictable) AI, and that player believed that was a proof of Arena Net's incompetence. Eventually, after all the QQ, Arena Net nerfed the kiting and the result is what we have now.

You can say "fuck the QQers!", but, as exemplified in topic 6 above, Arena Net doesn't think that way. They are never going to implement your proposed change (regardless of how I would like a nerf to the farming gimmicks myself). Erasculio 10:48, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

So they decided to make their game appeal the QQers, instead of making a challenging and good game. Learning from this experience from gw1 I don't think gw2 will be much better. --Boro 10px‎ 12:39, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
I'd also point out that continuing this "please the qqers" campaign will leave them without a solid playerbase. From this then arenanet will quickly earns it's reputation as a company being too incompetent to make a good game. --Boro 10px‎ 12:47, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
You could say that some of the decisions for GW2 are part of the same campaign; who else other than the QQers has really been asking for a higher level cap? Erasculio 12:50, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
