Hi Jon,

I received the following error message:

Your account has been blocked due to unacceptable behavior. You won't be able to log in again until the block expires. (Code=45)

My character was in pre-searing Ascalon, death leveling, with my other account. And considering I was afk while this happens, I am trying to find out why I was blocked and wish to get my account moving forward again.

Character Name: Eman The Destroyer

Hi Jon, one more thing,

When I attempted to log out, I received a second message stating my account had been terminated for engaging in or assisting with gold or item sales for real-world money, which is a breach of User Agreement and Rules of Conduct. This action is permanent.

I know I have not taken part in any sales for real-world money. So I'm assuming it is an 'assist' issue. And at this I am at a loss. Could you kindly advise on what the alleged infraction was and trade with whom? I've only done the normal buying and selling allowed under the rules of GW.

Could you kindly advise on how to reactivate this account

Sincerely, Eman The Destroyer ````

Just so you are aware, this wiki is run by players, not Anet. I do not know who you are trying to communicate with, but I would suggest that you Contact Support, as they are the only ones who can affect your guild wars account. G R E E N E R 02:21, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the help!....started playing in Oct last year and am rather green!

No prob. Once you have contacted Support and provided them with as many details as possible, take some time to read up on Keeping your account secure. Judging by the message you got above, things may be quite grave for your account if it was somehow hacked (I hate sounding dire).
Also, if you feel that you and support have discussed things, and you still believe that this was an egregious ban (you believe your account was never hacked nor compromised), you can contact Gaile and see if she is able to do a final once-over on the situation. Be aware that for security purposes, Support cannot/will not provide you with in-depth details on your account's ban. G R E E N E R 04:33, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
