Wild Throw[edit]
The point of related skills is to give people options to use if they like the effect of a skill. We don't list monster skills because nobody can use them - no matter how similar they are to usable skills, it's pointless and a waste of space to list it in the related skills section, because people looking for similar skills (to use) won't be helped in the least by it. Please revert your edit. -Auron 13:10, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

- OMGOSH, so childish... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:14, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I want the section to be useful and to have a point. I don't know what your aims are tbh; mind explaining why you want to list impossible-to-equip skills in a section devoted to finding skills to use? -Auron 13:19, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm saying, it's not a section devoted to finding skills to use.... How can it be? You want a paragon to go /A and get wild strike and some daggers to swap with cause he likes wild throw so much??... Just....doesn't make any sense to me.... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:22, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- The difference there is that a paragon can go secondary assassin. He'd be a retard to do so, but at least he can. The point of the related skills is to give other options (and tbh, it's not for the same primary profession; it's for people who make a sin for the first time and want to do something their old class did). I see no possible benefit in listing monster skills in that section. -Auron 13:26, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I see no possible harm that it could cause.....Why not leave it?? Is it hurting anyone, is it non-beneficial?? I think it's helpful, it shows a skill monsters use thats related to the skill you have.... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:34, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

- Might want to remove Wild Smash from the Related Skills section of Wild Strike too, Auron. Extremeone got a point there. Arduinna 13:23, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Why do you think I called him childish....He removed it after I told him about it, then denied the existence of anything out of place... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:25, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Read GWW:NPA. Attack my arguments, not my person. -Auron 13:26, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- And no, I wasn't denying the existence of anything. In case you missed it, every article has a history - I can't pretend something never existed, much less when I made the edit myself. Your justification for putting it in Wild Throw was that it was already in Wild Strike; I took it out of Wild Strike's related section for the same reason it doesn't belong in Wild Throw's. You re-added the skill to Wild Strike without any justification at all.
- Please focus more on the reasoning and less on reverting helpful edits. -Auron 13:30, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- That was a typo.....I was calling your edits childish...Notrly you yourself...And how is deleting something from a page a "helpful edit"?? -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:34, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- And btw, My reasoning wasn't because it was on wild strike's page, my reasoning was that it was useful information that someone may or may not need.... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:38, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Also, Wild Blow has it as well, you might wanna remove that as well, for consistency... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:40, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Someone interested in finding what Mallyx is capable of will be looking at the article on Mallyx. Listing his stance-removing ability as "related" to actually usable ones serves no purpose; Mallyx is a single creature that the vast majority of Guild Wars players don't ever see. He is minutia, and seeing as nobody will ever be able to equip his skill, what's the point of listing it? Hoping that someone will be able to hack the game and let players use it? :/
- Lastly, you'd just revert my edit on Wild Blow. I won't waste my time. -Auron 13:46, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- And btw, thanks for the lovely welcome to the wiki....I really appreciate it... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 13:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

- I said person....not a friend of yours......but whatever...you win, you get to delete the stinkin monster skill from the related section.....I still don't see why you make such a huge deal about this.....Why can't a monster skill be on the page? it seems so trivial.....They are named identically, and they basically function the same.....and they are skills.......RELATED.....if thats not related, iono what is....Get wild blow while your at it......and make sure you go to wild smash's page and remove all the related skills from there.....the monsters who come to the page can't change there skills, therefore, according to your argument, not related......... -Ë×ţřεмəόήє 15:39, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- And i'm SOOOOOOOOO right ~ SCobra 16:15, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- Welcome to the wiki.
- Instead of simply reverting your edits, I brought the issue up on the skills formatting page (which you've found). I think getting community input would be more wise than assuming I'm right (although I always am, so what's the point? :P)
- I don't mean to make you feel unwanted. I'm usually just blunt in discussions. I hope you read my post over on that skills formatting page, as it has my stance and my justification. If you have anything to add or whatnot, feel free to; you can post over there to your heart's content.
- Oh, and... I have no idea who SCobra is :) -Auron 16:24, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
