Sockets and Enchantments[edit]

I really hope you guys decide to add sockets and enchantments to weapons. (and armor) And can they glow, like in Diablo 2? I fsckin' love to glow. Vael Victus Pancakes. 22:57, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Heh there is already Dyes wich can color armor and there are Upgrades, inscriptions & runes wich u can apply on weapon/armor to change their strength and color were have u been? btw u dont glow in diablo2 unless u wear a complete set of armor like Immortals king set,Tal'Rasha set and so on i know ive been level 99 and top 7 on ladder Europe.--88.89.202.198 17:17, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

A whip added to the game for a profession would be cool =)TitanSacranus 20:57, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
I think that whip isn't a very good idea it may be a litle racist and that kind of stuf.--Rated Five 18:13, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

A Crossbow would be cool, no arc, fast arrows (bolts), maybe higher damage, but slow. Pzycho 14:03, 11 May 2008

Love the crosbow idea, but there would be a chu-ko-nus they could have good rate, but takes always long time to load. I think that crosbows would deal a massive damage. It also could be balanced because it is so slow to reload. I think it's a good idea I just love the idea. --Rated Five 18:13, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

I really like you guys ideas for weapons their great, but what i think would be cool is it while in an out post other players can see your weapon...i love my greater sage sword and my Angis of Augh, it would be sweet when i'm walking through La or KC if other people could see them to ~Phox53~

Havent been able to find anything on having 2 handed weapons (or maybe its just because ive just woken up lol) anyway, 2 handed swords and axes would be nice - weve already got warhammers. maybe allow dual wielding of weapons? (similar to the assassins 2 daggers, maybe allow "small" weapons to be dual wielded? (short swords, hatchets etc.) Arav

I think it would be cool if weapons came packaged with skills. So I could have my R/W use his bow with one set of 8 skills and then I could hit F2 and have my R/W pull out an axe and load up a new set of skills. It would make playing more flexible and would allow for players to actually play with different weapons rather than being stuck with a single build in an area and having to go back to a town after traveling a LONG way.-- GS

Morning stars would be nice to have in the game. They could be fast with because of the chains, but the chain may be hard to make look realistic. They are also realy powerful, so they would have high critical rate, but not too high damage. Then it should be balanced with another weapons.--Rated Five 18:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Glaives (similar to the hooked axe)[edit]

Because the actual blades are at a higher angle, they look much more practical than scythes.

i would really love to see huge two-handed axes in gw2, where you can swing around with. it would be a nice norn weapon i think.

Agreed, Vikings (inspiration for the Norn) used those a lot.Death Demonisher 09:13, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Fusion Weapons[edit]

Here's an Idea "FUSION WEAPONS" this would be all about upgrading weapons by combining materials and weapons to create a whole new weapons

I think that they would be too futuristic for Guild Wars 2. It just doesn't sound good, but nothing is impossible for asura in science. I don't realy think it's a good idea.--Rated Five 18:38, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
