It's difficult to speak about how problematic organizing guilds for huge events since we haven't play the game, but I would be confident Arenanet has already taken large guild activities into consideration. I am happy, for several reasons, that they don't create so many instances because, first, it seems to kill the community spirit by whisking away players from the persistent world and taking them all into their own world. Secondly, dynamic events are scaled to the number of players participating, and judging from the videos by reporters, there are PLENTY of dynamic events and quests to satisfy solo players, group players, or "raid" size groups! If your guild happens to find a dynamic event, call all your guildies online and partake of the fun! My understanding is it will scale in difficulty and, likely, in rewards to satisfy many a raider. Thirdly, I've seen many cool mmo community whose population has deteriorated to the level were few were available in the persistent world to help others, because they are all in instances, either fighting in battlegrounds/warzones or in dungeons/raids. Some instances are helpful, but to make them a large part of the game will breakdown the beauty of adventuring the persistent world. How many times have we played games only to see zones become depopulated as people level. That's actually my concern for the game; will low level zones become ghost towns and thus new player or alts can't relive the community comaraderie of early times? I like how Arenanet wants the game to be the endgame where as many people can quickly join in to help each other play, now that seems a more truer and fuller meaning of community.
