Minor Edit and Show Preview[edit]

Right beside the "Save page" button, there is a button called "Show Preview" that allows you to make several changes without saving the page. Also I'd recommend ticking "[] This is a minor edit" just above the "Save page" button. Making lots of edits clutters up recent changes.

User Page[edit]

Hey I like your user page! ;) I got an e-mail notification that someone made a change to my user page, and my reaction was "ZOMFG NO A VANDAL!" but then my page looked fine and I saw your page...and then I was relieved. You can do the tabbed pages like how I did mine, too. I prefer that over a lot of scrolling when your characters have a lot of details and history. Basically the tabs are their own mini page which gets put into the top of all your other pages. Let me know if you would like any help with that! -  Alice  11:33, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

I would love help, sorry about the accidental editing, I reverted it back as soon as I realized. You did a great job on your page and I tried to keep my timeline history separate from your but its very hard being a ranger and having all those solid dates to stick to. I've been changing things as I think of something new. I loved the trapped in the underworld for the hall of hero's thing and that was a great way of explaining my absence while i took a bread from the game. You did a great job on your page, and I hope I didn't offend you by using some of the content. Like i said, its still a work in progress.--Matthias 19:05, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

I take it as a compliment! :) Go to one of my pages, then click Edit. The very first line adds a template for the navigation bar. The navigation bar is always the same on each page, but coloring the tabs and adding background colors for each page makes them feel connected. You can find my navigation bar at User:Alice/Navbar and you would make your own at User:Matthias/Navbar.
I'm glad you liked the bit about being trapped in the Mists. I thought that was the best way to bring my character forward into GW2. My brother and I have actually been writing a series of web comic strips to tell that story. His GW2 character shows mine all the things that have changed since I've been gone, etc. I think a lot of GW1 players will be able to relate to that, as we'll all be experiencing big changes. I leaked the 7th strip earlier, but I won't publish the full site until we have a GW2 release date. That gives me more time to build up a solid collection of strips. :) -  Alice  11:15, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
