Hero Battles would be cool as a specific type of RA/TA format. As it is, it's like Alliance Battles: cool in concept, but it just ends up being a "who can run in circles the fastest" contest with little or no actual fighting. At least, that's what I imagine it would end up like. Maybe it would be better than that, I don't know. In any case, NPC shrines should not exist if it gets ported to RA (I think all of the maps should, but each of them should have a much lower percentage chance of showing up so the whole arena isn't crapflooded with a bunch of HB maps). It's a pity RA/TA are such shit nowadays. Syncing should be nerfed.  :/ —Jette User Jette awesome.png 11:08, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean "AB is little to no actual fightning"? You must've never played with me.
The thing about HB is that people can run away at ANY SIGN OF CONFLICT and still be effective. Even if your characters can beat them 4v4, or on split or whatever else, they're not necessarily at an advantage, because wherever the other person decides to send their hero, they will be effective. In order to effectively kill anything, you NEED a snare. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 19:30, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
I play AB like once a month at best, but 80% of the time all I do is nuke NPCs and wait for shrines to turn blue while the rest of my team engages in a massive clusterfuck. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 01:10, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Here's how I play AB: I find moving blue dots and turn them into stationary gray dots. If there happens to be a shrine someplace, k, we'll take a few seconds to cap it. Still, by far the best way to win AB is to roll the opposing faction into the ground as much as possible. Oh, and keep res shrine. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 23:27, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
