No Protective Spirit? That single skill is arguably the bedrock of PvP. Arshay Duskbrow 05:09, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Sbond moar! D':
But really, there were a number of things that I wanted to include, but simply didn't have room for. I'll cover these in the Honorable Mention section. =) User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 17:08, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

What are you basing these skill selections on? 8-10 aren't used in GvG like ever. -Sorale

If I throw my opinions in here on honorable mentions then a whole bunch like me are probably gonna spam this page with the same. So I'm going to ask before doing so :) (yeah I know it's only a talk page, but hey.)--Revelations 13:49, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm basing this on GvG, HA, and even PvE, so not all the skills are going to be GvG-usage.
All contributions are welcome. =) User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 12:53, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
I haven't seen 8-10 in a while like anywhere though. PBlock isn't as good as people say it is, either. btw is signing my coments like this okay or should I sign up for an account? I don't really feel like doing that. -Sorale
If you plan to keep contributing to the wiki, an account makes it much easier to keep track. But if you don't want to, I'd suggest signing like that, then putting the ~~~~ to sign your IP, too. And yeah, PD might be better than pblock in the current meta. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 13:28, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
There's no WoH on the list either and that mades me sad. Currently pretty much every monk in the game has Dstance, too. Weapon of Warding should also be on the list. Much moreso than Weapon of Remedy. Guardian, too. But I'm just testing out the four tildes tbh.~(amidoinitrite) :3 -Sorale 74.130.73.192 04:05, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I'd put ZB on here before WoH, tbh. WoWarding is definitely gonna be honorable mention. Dstance, though, not so much. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 10:10, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Being a hardcore warrior fan, id Eviscerate capable of making the Honorable Mentions? I love Bull's Strike to death in PvP but my inner fanboy always jizzed when I did the good ol' Eviscerate -> Executioners combo b.r // talk 11:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Evisc has been the spike skill of choice since... Well, forever. I think that warrants some attention. =) User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 18:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I fell in love with warrior after I realised assassins did not reward skill at all wich is 1.5 year ago ? Well tbh Eviscerate is nice but what makes things die are bull + frenzy if you dont havethem youre fucked.Eviscerate can be replaced by dismember for axes easely actually Lilondra User Lilondra Eviscerate.jpg*gale* 18:18, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
I actually prefer Dismember + Primal to Evisc. I can DW more often AND spike in sprint+frenzy. Okay, so you lose 30 damage on the spike. Tell your monks to wand moar. =P User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 18:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Primal rage is OP tbh it should NOT be compared to balanced skills. But youre right it doubles youre dps in general whilst giving easy bull's and making you practicly unkitable Lilondra User Lilondra Eviscerate.jpg*gale* 19:29, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
No! Blasphemy! Madness! Eviscerate > all!!!! b.r // talk 03:14, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Make Haste, ZB, Freezing Gust? Prose 18:49, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Make Haste, being an unstrippable speed buff that can be carried off-target, is a key skill for success in HA, though it doesn't show much in GvG; same deal with Song of Concentration. Also, MH! wins matches in FA and JQ. ZB opens the door for prot monks to run without Healing Prayers, which is godly, if only for the double-spec it offers. On top of that, it's a 130 heal for 3 energy, if used properly. And Freezing Gust is, well, Freezing Gust. It's a non-elite skill that can completely ruin the opposing team's frontline (or kiting casters), and with a recharge that allows it to be kept up indefinitely. Since it recharges faster than hex removal, like every other OP hex, it can still serve its function even with a monk working to keep it off.
