About the Jagganathen, when you said that the Sylvari would "lose their concentration and begin having difficulty distinguishing between themselves and their Jagganathen...Sylvari will simply fall off his mount and the Jagganath will attempt to protect you until you recover." I got the mental image of small vines and mosses growing over the character until he/she was nearly covered and then simply slipped off unconscious sliding out of the folaic(Just made that word up) embrace.
