My both wrong?[edit]

No. Setting up your heroes with 2 fast-casting nukers to lay down meteor showers and the rest with all meteor showers and typical AoE will rape any group anywhere. It will make farming different, and easier. Anything suffering from knockdown simply won't stand a chance, and that's only one thing that comes to mind. And you cannot do that with a group of players because...? — Teh Uber Pwnzer 13:10, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
HURR HURR because you can't find a group to do it? The point is that using heroes is more convenient, and adding more to the hero count allows people to do very specific builds alone. Why would you even say "you cannot do that with a group of players because...?" if you're arguing towards having more heroes? You've made it obvious you don't feel you can just "get" people to do these things at your whim. Vael Victus Pancakes. 19:25, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, more heroes would allow more imbalanced builds to be used. However, would it be possible to set up two FC nukers (although I don't really consider FC nukers imbalanced one bit, considering the 60 second downtime. E/A's using glyph sac or Mindbender with Meteor Shower and Assassin's Promise is much more imba) + 6 specific others? Yes. Would it be convenient and likely to occur? No. Would it still be as imbalanced as it would be with heroes? Of course, likely even more. So I guess that what I am saying is that heroes do not and will not cause imbaness, they only allow the imba builds to be used more often. This is a problem in the skills, not heroes.
I just realized something else: we're talking about farming. Excluding places with chest rewards, heroes would likely not be used thanks to just about all of it being possible to solo at slightly slower speeds but with much more loot. In places with very high end chest rewards like DoA, UW and Slavers, quicker alternatives like cryspike and speed runs would be, well, a lot quicker than using heroes. While a hero team would be very possible to use, it would be a lot slower. In other dungeons with less of a population, yes, heroes could easily be used. However, is there even much of a point in doing that? You could get much more gold doing other farms. The only type of farm I can see heroes affecting is rep point farming, which is just gay anyway. — Teh Uber Pwnzer 00:25, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Ah, then after your clarification... agreed. (I was just throwing out meteor shower for the hell of it, I wouldn't even bother with it 'cuz of the cooldown, but just how much it could reak havoc) I'm more concerned with just being able to do things like DoA and HM dungeon runs, because I enjoy that bit of challenge. I hope they do something un-consumable-y to strengthen us more, or at the least give us something useful to do with our monies. Vael Victus Pancakes. 01:54, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

reggie's talk[edit]

Are you kidding? That seems like a dumb thing to argue about. Emos exist IRL, and that subculture is a lot more popular than Guild Wars (especially online, with livejournal/myspace where "emos" can vent all they want). You should probably focus your efforts on stopping them from cutting themselves, as they will have more of an effect on imaginary family members than removing mechanics from video games will. -Auron 13:14, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Sacrifice Skills[edit]

I find the Necromancer class disturbing as a whole. Have you also noticed that spreading disease amongst your enemies is also a valid tactic with this class? That seems to be advocating the use of biological weapons. Perhaps we could start a petition to get this disgusting class banned entirely. Misery 15:31, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. As long as torture is enough to cause change, so is the necromancer class XD — Teh Uber Pwnzer 00:22, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
