VoD
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for reworking GvG a bit. It has been long overdue. However, a few things have come to my attention (as well as to others):
- NPC's don't do anything. They are completely expendable. This needs to be fixed. Perhaps a revert is in order (bars)?
- Splitting, one of the most difficult strategies in the game (and promotes the most skill), has been completely eliminated from the game.
- The body-guard should be reverted. A 200 healing spell, simply does not cut it. Needs to walk with lord at 20.
- 20 minutes, or 28 minutes, it really doesn't matter...personally I enjoy shorter matches.
- A set victory condition is never a good thing. Especially when it depends solely on a single NPC.
Possible Solutions:
- Have the NPC's affect the overall health of the guildlord in some way or another? like 2% moral (lost) per NPC?
- Revert what was stated above. Precision shot (maybe, best to use your own judgement), Bodyguard, ect?
- 20 minute matches with a new victory condition. Perhaps (the new condition) should be tied to both the Guild Lord's moral, as well as the teams? Then, not only do NPC's play a huge role in winning (due to the 2% moral they provide), but so does the team's overall skill (DP affects the team's score negatively, while boosts positively). Moral is then totaled at the end, deciding the victor. Further explanation can/will be provided, if so necessary.
