Of course they could!! think about the buffs and other things they could have! They can pack just as big a punch as any Char, when outfitted correctly. Take an Asuran Warrior. If another races class was much better, then everyone would play as a Char warrior. What im trying to say is that each race has qualities that can make them better in different classes, For example; Asuran Dervish. They would be just as good as a Char Dervish because they have higher attunment, and can then pump out those enchantments like no other. The Char Dervish would equaly match an Asuran Dervish because of the Char's instictive combat ability and strength. See, anyone can do anything!!Haseo 20:07, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

The shamans are still there, and they've probably been shopping around since the fall of the titans. Charr also could've learned the dervish fighting style from the Asura (who know how to make golems with dervish skills, but don't necessarily have their own dervishes), or developed the profession independantly by emulating the fighting styles of dervish monsters. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 04:35, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

We already have Warrior Asuras in GW1, it'd be odd if the choice was not offered in GW2. Slightly different mechanics for lore or roleplay is fine, as long as they are balanced. I love being about to make any race/class combo I like. I've already been in the situation where I was not able to make the race/class combo I wanted, and that's no fun. -- Alaris 16:04, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
