This is not a bad idea, infact it is a great idea. but the golems should not be equal to minions, but instead make them like pets. You can only have one, but he should have his own skills, that would be built in to its armour via runes or some kind of golem upgrades crafted by NPC asurans. It is also a good idea that this is race defined, it is much like bearform of Norn.
