What about adding AoE hex removal? -- Gordon Ecker 02:02, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

it wouldn't be as useful as it was before anet killed it , since hexes arent very popular nowadays , i'd rather see the skill like it was in the past with a reworked enchantment removal , it would be another option for mesmers on GvG instead of the same E-surge/Gylph of energy 189.70.155.16 15:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Excellent suggestion.. or, to make things a bit worthwhile, make half of damage hit unconditionally. File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 21:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

The problem with HEV, was it made people asplode at VoD and destroyed euro backlines that included a water snare. Now that VoD mechanics are different, I don't see the problem with this suggestion. Lower damage perhaps and recharge? One enchantment --Readem 15:46, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Also, ANet apparently don't like AoE or untargetted enchantment removal, which I think is what's holding this skill back - that is, they're afraid to buff it because it has too much offensive potential - but without a buff it's pretty underpowered, as an elite (it's one of those skills with a wide range of possible power).
Limiting the number of enchantments removed and the damage dealt would solve this problem, or at least make it a good deal less bad than it is now, allowing it to be balanced more accordingly.

What does everyone think about leaving the current damage and reducing the recharge to 12 to see how it functions? It still couldn't keep up with all the Illusion and Water hexes but could be enough to start the meta swinging in a less defensive direction. --Rururrur 20:17, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
