TimeToGetIntense's Discussion

I like that suggestion. This skill does have potential - it's one of the very few active hexes that a necro has. P A R A S I T I C 08:55, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. I think the life stealing might have to be lowered from almost 100 to the mid-70's if it were to affect the intended target, but I think it could have good potential with this suggestion. However, I think it would be even better if it was changed to cause the target's next spell to fail, regardless of target, and steal health from the caster who failed to cast. Much simpler, and it would work against more than just monks/rits which will make it far more useful both in PvE and less organized PvP.
The flavor of the skill is that it subverts the enemy's support. I don't think it would make sense to work on all spells. It's not bad at what it does assuming it steals health from the target being supported. It's devestating to a Monk or Rit who's already in a tight spot. It needs to hit the guy who you wanna kill when the support isn't being targetted, simple as that. It would be better for organized PvP that way. --TimeToGetIntense 04:47, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
It's basically like the Necro's Shame - it shuts down a monk for 6 seconds or forces them to cast through it. The only problem is that they are more likely to cast through this since they can just heal the damage (it will certainly cost less than the energy lose from Shame) and it's also in Blood Magic which has few other similar (or in fact useful at all) skills, as opposed to Domination Magic which has lots of others.
Maybe it could be changed to steal a small amount of energy as well, which would make up for its cost and make it more potent. I also like the idea about making it steal from the target, but I'm not sure that would fit. Maybe half from the target and half from the caster?

Idea

"For 6 seconds, the next time target foe casts a spell that targets an ally of that foe, the spell fails and you steal up to 10...76...92 Health from that foe. This Skill does not recharge until Mark of Subversion ends. If you steal Health through Mark of Subversion triggering, this skill recharges 50% faster. Otherwise, this Skill recharges normally." Lower recharge by a few (to 24-27) to compensate for the temporal disable. --Vipermagi 10:44, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Life's Idea

Why? Most Paragon shouts are non-targeted, so what good will it do you to make this affect Paragons? 76.89.81.150 04:17, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Doesn't matter. If you'd cast an untargetted spell, MoS will trigger, afaik. --Vipermagi21:19, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Dark Morphon's Proposal

No. Fuck Curses. It has enough skills. And this skill eats through Protective enchantments so it's much more dangerous than Mistrust, although not as dangerous as Guilt or Shame... Bathory 08:57, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
