In the area means quite a lot in PvE. Fine skill. Nukleaer VII File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 18:25, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Marginal effect? A = pi * r^2; An increase from nearby to area is doubling the effect area. Lightblade 20:27, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- most of your targets are going to be in adjacent range (melee). --Life Infusion «T» 22:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's fine in PvE, open an attack with this while they're still all clumped and you've hexed them all. Follow up with enfeebling blood on the meleers and you have a totally neutered enemy mob. Buff not needed.--Ckal Ktak 21:35, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- this shit is the same as shadow of fear but more of a pve skill, it should need a 10% sac tho --Frozen Archer 00:22, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Decrease the sac and/or the cost, but maybe also decrease the duration. This would decrease the power of the increased area, so to speak (as in Strength ~= Area x Duration x Functionality) meaning that in PvP it wouldn't be imba due it's super sticking and swamping ability in hexway (in hexway, getting this on a couple of casters has its benefits too since it can cover others or make monks waste energy removing it), and in PvE it probably wouldn't be that big a deal since your recharge is a lot shorter than the duration anyway (and most mobs are dead before 30sec is up anyway :-) ).
