i agree with u if i still see blood necros in ab this weekend xD--92.11.53.87 00:05, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the opinion that the "recent nerf was retarded," although not necessarily with the word choice. It's nice that people finally got around to seeing that blood magic is a very good attribute (I've been praising it since before Factions was released), and I understand that teams of necromancers were using it as part of some effective build in PvP, but Vampiric Gaze is one of the first skills that a necromancer learns in Prophecies. Since Prophecies is the first campaign it should set the baseline against which skills from all other campaigns and expansions be measured. The oldest, most core skills in existence shouldn't be altered; if newer skills combine with a core skill in a dangerous way then, as the newcomers, they should be changed in deference to the baseline already established by the core skill. If it's best for the PvP community to nerf the blood spike builds rather than let the player base develop counter builds, then reduce the power of other skills in the build. But leave those skills such as Vampiric Gaze that have been deemed "core skills" alone. 68.9.183.54 05:56, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

You hit the nail right on the head. That's what I keep saying- Pick a set of CORE skills and use them as a baseline for ALL other skills. For example, Fireball and Immolate are good baseline skills for elementalists. Power Shot and Apply Poison are supposed to be good baseline skills but Anerf ruined Power Shot. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:72.64.14.8 (talk).
