I agree that it is really annoying targeting allies with this skill, since as a paragon you are generally throwing the pointy things the bad guys. I don't know about AoE effect though since it could be vulnerable to abuse by multi-paragon teams...when I think of someone yelling Brace Yourself, I picture them pointing at the elementalist who is throwing a meteor or the gigantic armored monstrosity coming at me with a spiked hammer; if you could use to target an enemy and make the next knockdown during the duration of the shout fail, it might be easier to use than having to click on a party member. Of course, it would probably still be open to multi-paragon abuse, but at it would only affect one enemy instead of giving the whole team immunity to knockdown. - Elder Angelus 19:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

This is actually the best idea ever for this skill, but might be tough to implement. I'd love to point at Jotun and shout Brace Yourself and cause his Stomp to fail. But might be a bit abusive against hammer warriors if you could keep this up on 24/7 (which you currently can). --Spura 20:17, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
