I honestly dont see why people think this skill is bad. It doesn't have any extra damage because its a ranged deep wound, as pointed out before. Granted, its not quite Augury of Death, but its still nice to not have to stand next to the guy to inflict it. It has synergy with Sundering Weapon, since the cracked is applied first, and is used in multiple balance teams as well as RSpike. True, but unless you run Sundering, it's pretty hard to inflict the Cracked Armour in the first place. I would be in favour of a small damage bonus, maybe in the region of +2...8...10, and maybe with a small recharge increase to balance it out.
