SavageX's Discussion

If you want it like this, you should increase the adrenalin costs to 7. Otherwise it would be OP imho, because of the extra damage it already does. But i'm not really sure, if it is necessary at all to change this skill... A. von Rin 01:27, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I disagree. If you look at something like Barbarous Slice, six adrenaline for more damage and a more easily met requirement for less bleeding time, or Body Blow, which can deal much more damage with a more dangerous condition for seven, this seems balanced by comparison. Of course there are counterexamples, but there aren't many more similar than Barbarous Slice. Chaiyo Kaldor 01:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
With BS you can't use ias, if you want to inflict bleeding. That is really bad because it lowers your dps a lot. And causing cracked armor isn't much easier than causing a kd imho... A. von Rin 02:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
First, you can use ias with spells/echoes like Weapon of Aggression, Aggressive Refrain, or Heart of Fury, but that is a rather narrow way to avoid that disadvantage. A stance could just be applied after using BS, though. Also, cracked armor has more of an appeal to me as an enabler for the bleeding because it lasts longer. Knockdown will, of course, last four seconds at most, while even if one uses a skill that one has no points in its corresponding attribute, it would cause Cracked Armor for at least five seconds. While conditions are easily removed, I would imagine that it would be easier for an enemy to block out or at least slow down an attacker. Correct me if I'm wrong about any of my assumptions. I played around with this before. Bull Strike -> Lacerating Chop -> Decapitate. Decapitate do good damage, and the bleeding will kill it on impact. Lightblade 03:19, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Bleeding sucks. You're knocking down your foes anyway with Bull's Strike or Shock, but it's not worth the skill slot to have Bleeding. --TimeToGetIntense 09:04, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
This skill isn't so great right now infact since you need to gain adrenaline, then be able to knock the foe down(meaning shock is pretty much required or great timing with bulls strike) and hit them with lacerating chop just to cause an extra 6 dps, your better off using poison tipped signet or apply poison.(Marsc 23:49, 23 February 2008 (UTC))
Actually it's pretty easy to use this skill. You should have Stonefist Insignia which means after a Bull's Strike you have 3 seconds to pull it off. The effect is bad, it's that simple. --TimeToGetIntense 06:28, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
According to izzy this is MEANT to be a bad skill, because slashing someone with an axe wont make them bleed 76.26.189.65 10:32, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
If izzy really said that, then what Shard says about him is correct. Seriously, Izzy, don't make a skill just to make it a piece of crap and leave it in the dustbin. Rework the skill. Show some effort.

This skill is so bad, I didn't even know what it did (until I read the skill description). Oh, and just in case you haven't noticed Izzy, [Te] disbanded ages ago, and I don't believe pally plays GW anymore (because GW is as balanced, as Lacerating Chop is effective) --Readem 10:45, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Pluto's Discussion

I like this suggestion, though the amount of bonus damage might be a bit high. It would fit very well on a Shock Axe's bar, Izzy would be happy, the skill would keep its functionality and not merely become another version of an existing skill, and most importantly it might actually be useful. You have my vote.
