TimeToGetIntense's Discussion
This skill could be pretty decent as an adrenaline attack. It can actually kill a target under the right conditions. If it is blocked, the Deep Wound it causes will happen before the small conditional damage. In other words, if it's blocked by a low target, they die.
My more radical suggestion is this: 6 Adrenaline Axe Attack. If this attack hits, you lose all adrenaline and inflict a Deep Wound for 1...16...20 seconds. If Swift Chop is blocked, your target suffers a Deep Wound for 20 seconds and takes an additional 10...25...29 damage.
I think that might cause some interesting new build to be used, but then again, this skill could just be changed to adrenaline without such a change and be good. --TimeToGetIntense 12:42, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not so sure adrenaline would be a good thing. After all, you can't build adrenaline if your target is blocking you... --Hikan Trilear 17:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- You underestimate the vast amounts of adrenaline good warriors have, though. As for using this on a low target, they'll die whether or not they block you, which is a good thing indeed in this blockway meta - but that assumes you've somehow gotten them low without putting on deep wound already. -- Armond Warblade 19:20, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- What I mean is, this skill will always kill the target if they block at 120 HP or less. Dealing that much damage with a connecting Swift Chop is actually not possible. Granted, if they already have Deep Wound on them, this doesn't do much, but there are times when you can pull a kill off because of this skill. It's honestly just not worth the energy though, partially because it's not terribly reliable against stuff that blocks 50% of the time. --TimeToGetIntense 22:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

- I can see the rationale for this but like Furious Axe in its original 8 adrenaline form, it would probably not see as much use as you think it would. I like the original idea of making it 1/2 activation (from the original skill feedback page) better though. --Life Infusion «T» 01:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think Swift Chop would see a ton of use with my suggestion, but I don't think it's a good idea to thrust a skill violently into the metagame anyway. Why not gently ease it in? --TimeToGetIntense 06:25, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

- Leave the skill as it is, except that change condition applied to Cracked Armor. See Body Blow. Edi 11:22, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
