In similar fashion to Shiro's Blades, I would be excited to see other weapons with an usually high requirement. Legendary weapons that are treasured to a greater extent due to some significance to the storyline or lore of Guild Wars - for example, Shiro was highly skilled as an assassin and this skill allowed him to wield such large daggers. They're one-of-a-kind (sort of) and players must be exceptionally talented to wield them.
Players should not be allowed to trade these items. If possible, a mechanic could be set in place to automatically customize the weapon (so that any other characters on the account cannot use it until proving themselves worthy for their own). A new title color should be used to distinguish them as the next highest tier in item quality (white>blue>purple>gold>green>???).
Assassins already have one, so there should be at least one for every profession. Excuse the corny names, I can't hold back my imagination. Please contact me if there are weapons I'm missing that are already in the game and good candidates for this list:
- Doppelganger's Arcanum (Caster - multi-attribute, drop)
- Doppelganger's Brand (Warrior - Might be crazy, but a melee weapon that functions similar to the recent caster greens with multiple attributes. The fabled weapon of the Doppelganger that could perform any skill of any weapon! Drop)
- Shiro's Sword (Sword - See the Blades)
- Shiro's Blades (Daggers - acquired from the end-game area as it is currently, or replaced as a rare drop from the Shiro encounter)
- Dhuum's Soul Reaper/Dwayna's Grace (Scythe - No need to invent a new weapon as either of these is legendary enough. I would suggest a better unique skin for Dwayna's)
- Varesh's Tainted Scythe (scythe!)
- Kormir's Legacy (Spear - acquired from her after certain spoiler-ridden events have transpired, seeing as she won't need it any longer.)
- Guard of Her Chosen (Leadership Shield - same)
- Guard of Her Favored (Motivation Shield - same)
More will come later maybe, though I think this is sufficient to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
