Suggestion for a special compensation for those who grinded out God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title in Guild Wars 1. GWAMM is no easy task. It takes time, dedication, and pure game-play. Pure involvement. There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
It seemingly is unfair to those who dedicated their time to grinding out the title, to only receive achievements in the Honor monument in Guild Wars 1. Someone that is just coming out of the PvP world in Guild Wars 1 only needs to purchase Hero Armour, Mini-Pets, Weapons, or Armour, and they'll be at par with someone who grinded out Honour achievements.
Example: PVEPlayer grinds out elite areas, achieves GWAMM, a few sets of armour, but was not really interested in the whole mini-pet thing. PVPPlayer doesn't grind out GWAMM, does a few elite areas, gets a few sets of armour, but over-fills on Hero Armour, Destroyer Weapons, and Mini-Pets. Having used Z-Keys to purchase all of it.
See what I'm getting at? It'd be nice to see people with a special reward in GW2 for having grinded out GWAMM title. It would also suggest to players to actually play the game and achieve things, other than sit in PvP all day grinding (zzzzzz...) PvP titles that they probably will never max out.
2010 GW PvP is a little more difficult to grind out than it was years ago where you could farm out your Wolf or Tiger in just a couple months with the same players. It's more difficult to achieve rank these days. The special reward for GWAMM achievers might suggest to people who are sick of PvP to go and play PvE for a little while, and explore the game a little more.
This suggestion was based on my gameplay experience and observations, and shouldn't be criticized, cut-down, and sent through a chop-shop full of retorts and come-backs. This was not made to be offensive, but to give people a full perception of how the GW1 game actually is, on both ends.::::Ardangoeswiki 15:14, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
