Tbh, i kind of a agree. I mean, GWAMM is a pretty intense PvE grind to acheive. But on the other side of that coin, the PvP titles require a fair emount of skill and a large time-investment to acheive as well. I play PvE virtually exclusively (save costume brawls and rollerbeetle racing for teh lulz). But giving an exclusive reward to GWAMM and not to intense PvP-players is a little un fair. --Jimmer123 21:27, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Players who get GWAMM in GW will be able to display the title in GW2. No further reward is necessary. Shayne Hawke 23:36, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Oddly enough[edit]

A high rank in HA can take several times as long as a GWAMM title; how can you justify wanting to keep this because "it's so much effort" while abolishing the other? — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 3:42, 29 Oct 2010 (UTC) Also, all but one ostensibly one of the rewards (arguably with the exception of minis) are PvE-oriented; "Get one PvP statue" hardly counts when you can buy a zrank without ever earning a point of balth faction. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 3:46, 29 Oct 2010 (UTC)

I agree, but there's what....3 people in GW that have maxed the Hero title? It's not the players' faults that the one person decided to stick around in PVP all day grinding a seemingly-endless title. And ontop of having to farm the title, you need to force yourself to like the people you're stuck playing with. There's no independence to the title. Wish A-Net would bring back heroes, and able to go in with just henchmen, 'cause believe me you, I quit HA due just to the simple fact that the players are a headache.
I can justify keeping GWAMM or atleast giving compensation while abolishing the whole HA rank BS. Depending on how you fit into the PvP community, the rank can be a breeze. 50+ fame point runs still exist, albeit, it may not be as common as it once was, it still exists. And I merely just stated that someone coming out of the HA/PvP community just only needs to max a few easy PVE titles, buy some mini pets, and bam, he's unlocked some accomplishments? How is that fair to the PVE person that just grinded his guts out?
And Raine, I didn't know you could display the title in GW2. However, I really don't find that compensation enough. Nothing is ever enough with some people. And one of those people are me. And fortunately for me, there's more than just me that are like that. We want to see more. We expect more. And I'm sick of hearing the "Well atleast you don't gotta pay a monthly fee" crap. They do that to dominate on other MMORPGs that require you to pay. You shouldn't have to pay. And that's what steals players from other games. I think it'd be in ArenaNet's best interest to add more, and more, and more. It's for the greater good of the game. And now I'm just rambling. Ardangoeswiki 19:29, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Bit Elitist?[edit]

I find this suggestion a little unfair. While I wholey appreciate you've grinded your guts out ( I'm not that far off it myself) I question the need to make players who are among the best in order to achieve the GWAMM title any better by giving them companions not available to new players, which would make the game slightly un - user friendly. For these reasons I believe anet would avoid carrying out your suggestion just to maximise profits.

Similarly, There are other titles that are just as hard to get as GWAMM that would then want rewards.

Finally, you grinded to get GWAMM, I didn't, I just played the game without ever doing anything that bored me. Why should Arena Net reward you for not enjoying their game ( Please don't tell me that you did because looking through the list you will always have to do one title which really isnt fun, eg LDoA) and grinding where I enjoyed the game and stepped back to help less experienced players, making the game a better place and gaining something that means more than a 5 words for myself?
