I'm super excited about the new ranger class in Guild Wars 2 and the new pet system, as well as the addition of dogs as a charmable pets. However, I feel Guild Wars 2 will benefit greatly with the addition of multiple breeds of dogs that also vary in coat color. I'm not entirely sure what breeds they've already included, but more than one breed would practically be essential if dogs are being put in at all. For example, good breeds could include Bernese Mountain Dogs, Border Collies, German Shepherds or Australian Shepherds. In particular I would like to see the addition of Pembroke Welsh Corgis in the game, at least possibly as a mini-pet. No other game has before featured this type of dog in their games, and I would love to see them fighting alongside my ranger. Corgis have had a large impact on human-dog history, serving as not only loyal and lovable companions but also as herding dogs. People may recognize the corgi as being the pet of the most recent Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II. Adding this breed of dog would be great.
