Well I know its not a big deal , but it annoys me when NPC s uses my full character name. For example in Guild wars 1 in Minister's cho estate we are with Master Togo. When he tell us to follow him , he is saying: " Yijo, (for example) Arya Stark, Follow me" . I don't know why but when i see his dialog I think: He likes Yijo more QQ. My idea is about to give the oppertunity to players to give nicknames to their character. Every character must have a full name , but if they want to , they can have nicknames...and if players got a nickname , they can choose to use this nickname or keep their full name , and in that way you can meet 2 player with the same nickname (but not same full name). In pvp nickname couldn't be used.

The other version of my idea: only NPCs use this "nickname" you use. This way it wouldn't be a problem if 2 player use the same nickname. I think this version would be better, it wouldn't be confusing if you see many character with the same nickname. In big events , when the NPCs have to choose someone from the crowd, (for example in mad king's rock/paper/scissors) they should use their full character name. This nickname would take part mainly in the personal storyline , or maybe if you befriend an NPC in an event.

How to carry this out: when you finished your character in the character creation process , and when you have to choose a name for example : "My name is (lets stay at example) Arya Stark, but my friends call me Arry." If you can befriend NPC s , it wouldn't be great if they use your full name all the time, or if you have a family or warband they call you always "Daemon The Great".

Thank you for taking your time to read my suggestion.
