But then what if, due to a name being taken already, someone puts a meaningless letter at the start and end to be able to use the name they like? eg. I want to use the name John Smith, but its taken, so I use X John Smith X instead. If they start calling me by my first name, i'm gonna get caled "X" for that characters lifetime. Aye. It's perfect. You don't make the nickname show up when you click on someone (unless it's after their name like "this", but that's not really necessary), but you do make the game call you that. It's a small thing, but I think lots of people would like this.
