This suggestion was originally posted by someone calling themselves "Rensie". It was flagged for deletion because apparently that person is not a registered user. However, as the suggestion has merit, I've re-posted under my user ID; but I take no credit for the original idea.
- Hi Anet, after watched several videos of the recent Gamescon 2011/Pax prime 2011 i have learned that the camera of the game is shared with the right mouse button like a normal point & click game, pratically i have to hold the right mouse button to move the visual + character, using strafe, etc...
- I have a suggestion, please add if possible the chance to lock the camera to the mouse like in a FPS, and add a key (bindable) to switch from non-GUI mode to GUI mode activating the mouse pointer to manage bars, skills, journal, bag ,etc...
- What i suggest is more action and like a FPS but is more practical compared to the standard point & click system. I have no problem to use my left hand to press 8 different skills buttons because i have a lot of practice since i played games like Darkfall and a lot of FPS.
- This system will be the best for me and fps players that don't like use the mouse for main operations but prefer full keyboard control, The mouse will be used only to move the visual + character, right and left mouse button for normal attack and dodge, and for operations in the non-GUI mode. Another example is the camera system like in the recent mmorpg Tera (but without the crosshair since there is the autotargeting here).
- Thanks a lot for the attention.
- Rensie.
