Perhaps this has already been fixed/changed, but in watching a beta event #1 video a player was able to avoid underwater enemies by simply rising to the surface. As soon as they broke the surface and were treading water, they became immune to damage despite the enemies continuing to attack them from below.

This mechanic or bug (depending on whether it was intentional or unintentional, respectively) really opens up the potential for abuse. A player could dive below the surface, attack some enemies, return to the surface to escape damage, break aggro, then - after diving below the surface to gain access to their skills again - heal up, return to the fight, and finish off the weakened foes.

If a player is patient, they could use this to take on much larger mobs and/or much stronger enemies than their level would otherwise permit. Some may argue this demonstrates a skillful player. I would counter that it isn't skill; it's taking advantage of a game mechanic or bug which is effectively making the player invulnerable. I suggest allowing underwater enemies to continue dealing damage to a player, even when they move to the water's surface.

Thank you for reading.
