Everyone else has a Shadow Form suggestion, I might as well put up one too. The idea here is to take the "I'm a shadow" concept to its logical end: friends and enemies don't even notice that you're there, unless you call attention to yourself. All numbers are naturally subject to balancing tweaks.


Shadow Form Shadow Form 10 Energy1 Activation time45 Recharge time Elite Enchantment Spell. Lose all enchantments. For 5...18...21 seconds, friends and enemies will not target you for skills and attacks, but you take 10...4...3 health degeneration. This spell ends when you attack or use a skill.

  • AI-controlled NPCs will not target you at all. This should be doable with the current AI, because it automagically knows not to attack targets hexed with Binding Chains or Amity.
  • Not being targeted should also mean not being able to ball up enemies, if I'm reading the AI correctly. This would basically end perma tanking for tank 'n spank groups.
  • Human-controlled characters (and microed heroes) can still target you, because it would be annoying and cause too much grief potential in PvP otherwise (assuming this is used for PvP as well). This version of SF would essentially be useless in PvP, but that won't be anything new.
  • This will probably turn SF into a super running skill, but it shouldn't be too overpowered. The constant health degen means that maintaining it will kill you, so you'll have to come out of it eventually to heal up. Losing all enchants at the start is to keep things like Mystic Regen and Mending from interfering, although you could still get around it with weapon spells.
