Arena Net............[edit]

Why, oh why did you add in such an awesome feature while requiring spending your money for costumes that will most likely only come out once a year?

Problem for you #1: If you plan on adding in costumes for every Festival hat to come, revenue will come only a few times per year, then will slow, then will stop.

Problem for you #2/Problem for me #1: Not everyone in Guild Wars so much as uses the ingame store/nc soft store. Divide that into the few who would spend $7 for a simple thing of VIRTUAL apparel that will be outdated once Guild Wars 2 comes out, and then you have an estimate of how many people will actually invest into it.

Problem for you #3: What if someone bought a large amount of costumes, then sold a guild wars account for a million gold coins? Total mayhem. People would sell these that way, just like aeon wing codes before them.

Problem for me #2: People would find a way to get them, then get in your face and start insulting people for not having them. Same thing happened in Runescape with the Members' world spanning 90% of the players' game, only there was a report system where you could file a report from anywhere in the game. Which guild wars is thus lacking.

I just want some special costumes to be receivable freely, such as the costumes with the least revenue of all of the costumes, at the beginning of each month(Or wintersday, or halloween), would be released to the public, similar to the tonics obtainable from the zaishen chest.

Namechanges, player-sexchanges/makeovers, and weapons obtainable from the bonus mission pack have uses. But a simple cover for your armor for about 1/5 of what you can buy a campaign (+ eye of the north if you buy it from the store) for? Makes utterly no sense whatsoever if you want revenue. But whatever floats Guild Wars 2, floats my boat, just please pay attention to some of the Guild Wars 2 suggestions out there.
