I think the categories are the correct ones. Please inform me if otherwise.
The suggestion is basically what it sounds like: I'd like to be able to play against other players in Polymock. To be honest, it's a fun game, but fighting the AI over and over, even Hoff (the so-called master), gets dull and predictable.
The pieces seem balanced (to the point of listing skill energy costs by digit rather than sets of 5) and the games are quick; to me it seems like PvP without the hassle of gimmicks and finding a team. I wouldn't request anything like a ranking ladder or a title for winning, because it is just a mini-game. Perhaps it could just reward the winner Asura reputation points (90 could be the standard, like facing the harder AI), or the players could make a wager (limited, of course) and play for that, or maybe no rewards at all, just for fun.
Of course there would be people that would enter and just go afk during piece selection if there wasn't something to stop them, and would wait for the other player to quit out of boredom and frustration. I propose either allowing the non-afk player to claim a win after a certain amount of time or forcing randomized selection of a second piece by the afk player.
There would also have to be an option for players to choose whether to play by regular or tournament rules, as some people obviously only have the Iboga as a rare piece and would be overwhelmed by a skilled player with three rares.
Let me know if you see any further problems with my suggestion so I can add them to the page.
I realize that there are more important things that ANet should ideally be working on, before anyone says it. It's just a suggestion I'd like to see happen, at some point in the future.
