I think it would be really great if for those who own all expansions, all four world maps (Tyria/EotN, Cantha, Elona, Battle Isles) were combined into one giant map, thus removing the need for the ship and asura gate icons for getting between continents (Imagine it like this user made map on this page: Tyria (world)). Since this combined map would have to be so zoomed out, I think the best way to do it would be to add a button in one of the corners of the main map that would cause it to zoom out to this 3rd "world" level and from there you could zoom into each individual continent by just clicking anywhere in them like you would from the normal zoomed out level on the main map. I've wanted to see this feature for a very long time since boat traveling is starting to feel really clunky after playing GW since it was released :)
I was going through the other suggestions for the map and I saw a lot of them that were trying to fix this clunkiness in various ways, but I think doing this combined map would solve most of the other map suggestions I saw out there. I said at the start it would be for people with all expansions. Obviously I think it would be great if it was for anyone, but I can see how it would create a lot of unused space if a player, say, only owned Prophecies and Factions (though maybe seeing that whole juicy inaccessible continent would give them a good reason to finally buy that other expansion? ;)
