Feedback:User/Phoenix Tears/Birthday "Account" Presents

My first suggestion I do here is about the Birthday Items. In GW1 it was btw. is so, that every year that a single character reaches, that this character receives for every year a birthday present. This resulted very quickly in flooding the market with tons of minipets, so their values decrease also quickly from year to year every day characters receive and open such birthday presents. My point for GW2 is now to make this system more complex in regard of lore as also easier in its mechanics together, to receive as result also a better balanced economy that doesn't get so quickly flooded with minipets from birthday presents.

My solution is to make for GW2 the mechanic of the consumeable Birthday Present an account based item. This way will receive automatically all characters of your account everytime your account becomes 1 year older. This will remove totally the flaw of the old system of birthday presents being "farmable" too by creatign characters, let them live a year, taking the presents and deleting them then to create direct new characters to wait then another year for new presents. Even if its slow money income, its farmed money income with no effort by selling the presents to other players.

I also suggest for GW2, that Birthday Presents shouldn't be named for GW2 then anymore Birthday Presents, but instead it will be "Gifts". Gifts, which each race in GW2 should have their very own unique looking and named ones. I know this means a little bit more effort for you developers to split up that one item into 5 different and still the same one items, but it would add to the game alot immersion. I thought up these 5 names for the gifts:

Humans - Divine Gift

Charrs - War Supplies

Norns - Spiritual Gift

Sylvari - Seed of Miracles

Asuras - Technology Plan

I also thought of it, that these gifts, unlike the Birthday Presents in GW1 should get also improved in the way of what for rewards they should be able to give to the players. Birthday Presents in GW1 were lame, because they gave players always only the same thing - minipets, thats also the reason why the market ingame got so flooded with them. Te account gifts that I suggest here should reward the player with one of these following things:

- Minipet (Every year getting added only 1 new minipet, why add to the game always per year like 14 new pets?, 1 per year is enough, that way are Mibnipets something special and not like a kind of mass product)

- Money Bags (with different varifying amounts of money (Small, Big, Huge, Giant size) (10k, 15k, 25k, 50k), these could come in together with the "right" gift for the first 4 years of your account, after that no money bags anymore. Gifting over the 4 years the players with total 100k Platin.

- Coupon for trading in 1 full Armor Set of your wish

- Coupon for trading in 1 Weapon of your wish

- Coupon for trading in 1 Stack of Rare Materials of your wish

- Coupon for trading in 1 Ranger Pet of your wish

ect.

That way can earn players every year something they want directly without having to grind for hours over hours for it in various high end elite-areas ect. The items that get traded in with Coupons will be naturally still be limitated to the Character Level, so that after a year can't trade in a player for their Characters weapons or armors, which are much more powerful, than what that character of the account is at the moment able to use only.
