Cartographer is one of the only titles I like to do, yet the process can be improved.
- There would be a new UI element that shows the percentage you've uncovered of the current area. This would be similar to the Vanquishing "blessing" in hard mode but as a UI element, not a blessing, it would be available for every area, and could be removed (or moved) from the screen.
- The meter starts out as dark green and increases until and you have slightly less than 100% uncovered, then it turns bright green. The meter continues to increase and turns gold or platinum color when truly 100% of the current area has been uncovered. A small number below it in blue will appear if you explore more than 100% due to glitches or bugs that let you walk in places that were not intended to be explored.
- A book will be available that records the progress of each area, an easy way to visualize and keep track of what's remaining.
- The cartographer title can be expanded in several ways
- " Like 100%" vs actually 100% exploration
- Option 1: There would be a like 100% title (as in GW1), and a true 100% title for when 100% of every area has been uncovered
- Option 2: There would be a title for like 100%, but it's percentage would increase beyond 100% to include actual 100% of areas
- Glitches or areas not intended would get a title too.
- " Like 100%" vs actually 100% exploration
