I suggest making certain Assassin enchantments flash enchantments.
- Make exactly those enchantments flash that have quarter-second activation, as they are supposed to be cast as quickly as possible.
- Make those enchantments flash that are typically used before an attack chain starts or after it has started.
- Do not make those enchantments flash that involve shadow-stepping, to prevent erratic skill/attack behaviour, and to prevent speed abuse for shadowsteps to foes (no aftercast delay).
Specific skills to make flash:
- Dark Apostasy, Way of Perfection, Way of the Empty Palm, Way of the Lotus, Way of the Master: duration and recharge suggest these are intended to be permanently maintainable. Making it flash would increase their value to activate mid-fight because it would not lower DPS.
- Feigned Neutrality: Making it flash would increase its value as a split-second life-saver. Removing its aftercast delay could not be abused in an offensive combo because either attacking or using a skill would immediately end FN.
