Feedback:User/Sesuko/Character Creation Offline Access

The beta events happen once a month. Instead of keeping everyone waiting, why not leave Character Creation open for players during this downtime so we can still have some fun? I don't see why we should have to be online to create a character in the first place.

Phantasy Star Online 2, while in it's own beta stage, had separate software to design your character and even save it into a file on your computer to later load up in the actual game. This saved time and gave the fans something related to the game to have fun with.

I'm well aware how hard Arena Net is working on this game already and that anything seen as unnecessary would only delay and distract from the much eagerly-awaited launch date. However, lets also not forget that the players who pre-purchased this game had to spend a sum of $60 only to have to wait for the unpredictable beta weekends. There's only so much waiting even your biggest fans can take.

To keep the players' interest, I suggest that the Character Creation process be available offline, allowing the players access to design and implement all their ideas for their future characters. Optionally, add a feature to save the finished design as a preset to use in either the next beta event or even way ahead at launch. Thus saving us time so we could jump right in and giving us something relevant to do.

We paid good, hard-earned money by pre-purchasing Guild Wars 2 and supporting the development. I strongly feel it's every bit as important to the development process that the players aren't kept waiting to the point they get fed up and stop caring.
